Smt. Kesharbai Lahoti Mahavidyalaya is one of the best colleges in the region accredited with NAAC grade “A”. Initially it started with B.A. in 1960 by eminent education society Shri Ganeshdas Rathi Chhatralay Samiti and then B.Com was added in 1962.The college offers 04 UG and 5 PG and 11 Ph. D programmes with two PG diploma courses. It also comprises of research centers, well equipped library, canteen and girls’ hostel with Gym, Zumba, Yoga and Aerobics hall. Our college is the only college in the region having five language departments namely English, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, and Persian and offers instruction in three media namely English, Hindi and Marathi.

I always cherish and admire my old days from Smt. Kesharbai Lahoti College Amravati . My best years through out . I respect each and every staff member for understanding the art and culture and supporting us in those days. I was a colour coat holder for Drama for all three years and can not express my self how everyone from college staff supported me . Diet from sports quota to our theatre group was one of the most admired things my college has done for us . Thanks to Modani sir for it. This college has most talented and mostly doctorate staff which is an added value for any college. Students can blindly rely on the teaching staff for there degrees indeed. Apart from education , everyone from peon , non teaching staff to teaching staff will support you if you have any other quality in art, culture or sports . I believe KL is one of the best colleges Amravati ever had.My best wishes to all the new students wish to opt for such a wonderful college.
